My friend is suffering from arthritis.?
My friend is suffering from Arthritis . We have consulted with 3-4 doctors but still we are confused about the arthritis type she has. Some doctors says that she has Rheumatoid arthritis and some says Osteoarthritis . Symtons are : She has gained weight . Before she was 40kgs and now she is 70 kgs. She has swelling all over the body. She feel warmth and sweat some time. Already i have gone through many web sites but still need some info if anyone have the same problem. Please suggest what can be done and what type of arthritis she has? Any response is highly awaited.

- Has she been tested for Lupus? My mother has Lupus and has all of the symptoms that you described. She also was diagnosed with various types of arthritis before they diagnosed the Lupus. The treatment for Lupus is very different than the treatment for arthritis, so if she hasn't been tested for Lupus ask her Dr. to check her blood. A Rheumatologist or Internal Medicine specialist would be your best bet. Good Luck!

Go off all sugar, processed food, and dairy. Basically eat chicken , fish, vegetables, whole grains. Drink water. She will be amazed at how quickly this helps. It is hard to eat this way, but when you can function and feel good, it'[s worth it.
